Aquidistantes 20 - Eddy Andrade and Victor Polo

Aquidistantes 20 brings together two new talents from the interior of São Paulo – Eddy Andrade from São josé dos Campos and Victor Polo from Franca. The two share many points in common, starting with an appreciation for Brazilian instrumental music, a taste for modern harmony and improvisation as well as having an intimate connection with the academic world. Eddy is a master’s student and Victor is a doctoral student, both from Unicamp’s music faculty, where they met and started the group Trem Doido, which recorded their first CD in 2018.
In this video they developed an arrangement for the composition Nívea, by Edu Ribeiro where they were able to show all the sophistication and beauty in the harmonies and inspired solos.
